This question is of a very personal nature and I desperately need any true advice available.?

Hello everyone, I am a woman in my late 30's with no children, and at this particular point no possibility to be a mother. However this is not particularly my question.

What I do need, is to figure out why my body is soooo messed up. When ever I have my period it is almost fatal (no exaggeration). From time to time I will only have severe cramping and excessive nausea and vomiting accompanied by heavy clotting. However, on too much of a regular basis (like this month) I wind up vomiting every 10-20 mins. through the entire course of the period, and eventually wind up in the hospital to rehydrate. This is very difficult on the mind, body, and spirit (several days without liquids or protein of any kind will lead to a sort of dementia or hallucinations if you will, not good.

Nothing has been able to work....this has been going on now for 13 years. This is honestly the worst case scenario I have ever heard of for a period. I am not a drug user, and do not drink. My husband and I currently do not have any insurance. Obviously, this problem presents the issue of also not being able to hold down a regular job of any kind, even music.

When I have been pregnant in the past, my body has completely rejected the baby inside, to the point of being hooked up to IV's in the hospital with every kind of meds imaginable, only to wind up losing out once again.

I am entirely devastated by this health issue, which if it was not so reoccurring, I would not be displaying my vulnerabilities on-line. As I mentioned, this is of a very personal nature, so please consider that when answering.

Anyone with experience in this area (especially a GYNO, Dr., or nurse), research on it, or any honest advice would be greatly appreciated in more ways than I could possibly tell you. PLEASE I'm actually desperate here.....and as a very independent woman just asking for help is difficult.This question is of a very personal nature and I desperately need any true advice available.?
Iam no doctor nurse or in the medical field at all but Id say you definatelly need to go in and have them do blood test a complete panal then you may need a D%26amp;C its called if your bleeding that heavily during your mensturation cycle you may have to be looked at internally its a minor surgery they can put you out for it and they just look for anything abnormal thats causing your severe symptoms.. you may even worst case scnerio need a hystorectomy or you might need just hormonal resplacement like estrogen..it does sound however you have something chemically not right which is making your periods excessively heavy..to the point your getting these chronic symptoms..you may even have whats known as fibroids Non-cancerous tumors that cause very heave bleeding in some women who have them again those can be taken out with a D%26amp;C..any way you look at it get that blood test done..and do not wait you could be regular and living much happier without all these chronic dibilitating symptoms..not to mention the huge bills Iam sure youve been enduring monthly at the hospital ..JEEZ!! I hope I gave you some good advice I will be praying for you hun..I hope you recover very soon,and get on a path to treatment and a healthier you!! God Bless You..Erich.This question is of a very personal nature and I desperately need any true advice available.?
The only thing I can think of off hand is endometriosis . Severe endometriosis will cause many of the symptoms you describe . It will also prevent you from falling pregnant and increase the likely hood of miscarriage.
That is PMDD, period symptoms so severe they're impacting your ability to live. First thing, I'd say you find yourself a walk-in clinic (like planned parenthood, but not necessarily them) and go talk to them. I'm sure you must have spoken to a doctor before, but you seem to need more perspective. How long have you had this problem?

Have you tried birth control? Hormone therapy? Upping your vitamins before your period? (calcium and vitamins D and B for nausea and cramps) Have you considered a hysterectomy? That's a hard thing to ask someone who can't have children, but I feel like it might be time to consider it, if you can't even have a job for the severity of your symptoms.

Maybe add some more info for a more through answer?
My daughter has very painful periods, to the point she is on the floor crying and can barely walk for 1 to 2 days at the beginning of her period. From speaking with some people I have learned that you can get medication from your doctor that will stop this pain. I'm not sure if your vomiting etc. is caused by the amount of pain you are in, but it might be wise to go see a doctor. You said you don't have insurance, but most if not all hospitals can't refuse treatment due to inability to pay. Maybe go to the emergency room next time you are in that situation, and they'll try to find out what's going on.
I've read that when nothing else works, taking a common herb in North America, Shepherd's Purse, can do wonders for excessive bleeding during menstruation.

';Shepherd's purse is used to stop heavy bleeding and hemorrhaging, particularly from the uterus. When taken internally, shepherd's purse can reduce heavy menstrual periods, and it has been used to treat postpartum hemorrhage.

Still, it is considered most effective for the treatment of chronic uterine bleeding disorders, including uterine bleeding due to the presence of a fibroid tumor. Shepherd's purse has also been used internally to treat cases of blood in the urine and bleeding from the gastrointestinal tract, such as with bleeding ulcers.

An astringent agent, shepherd's purse constricts blood vessels, thereby reducing blood flow. Shepherd's purse is also thought to cause the uterine muscle to contract, which also helps reduce bleeding.';

There is plenty of information about this on the internet. Here's one link to start you out:
