I'm from Spain but anyway I think that I can answer you to some questions:





When you say Latin America, you are speaking about a lot of countries, I think Mexico doesn't have much to see with Argentina, or Brasil with Costa Rica, Chile, etc..for example. I suppose you are from USA, and I don't want offend you, but you (USA people) are quite ignorant about outside of USA.





2. I don't know if your are joking at this point, but the word ';curandero'; in spanish is not who practise the modern medicine, is one person whose capicities are based in the knowlege about the plants, exactly like in USA, or in Spain.
