Ok a nurse for a surgical office was telling me that she teaches conception classes for her local catholic parish and that the easiest time to get pregnant is when you stopped bleeding and the brown spots have cleared but there is still this sort of slimy odorless discharge. Like a couple of days after your period. She said she had all of her children this way... (this is my interpretation of what she was explaining...I could have mis- understood so please bare with me) does this make sense to anyone? Please explain. This question may gross out the guy's so read at your own risk. Is it true you can get pregnant post cycle?
Yes because that is the time that your body is getting the signal that you aren't pregnant and it's time to start over. Our hormones are set to make us breed. It's society that tells us when and why. This question may gross out the guy's so read at your own risk. Is it true you can get pregnant post cycle?
Yes everything i have read on conceiving says this.
The best or most fertile time to get pregnant is the period of ovulation in your menstrual cycle. This is the time when following an LH surge, a mature ovum is released into the uterus from the follicles. This egg or ovum is ready to be fertilized and stays so for about 12 hours after which it starts degenerating. The best way to determine your most fertile time is to pay attention to your body and learn to spot the physical signs of ovulation, and thereby the best time to get pregnant.
A woman normally ovulates 14-15 days after the first day of her period. So about a week after your period is over. The only way you can get pregnant is when your body ovulates. Sperm can live in the body for up tp 10 days, if conditions are right. A white, slimy discharge is a sign of ovulation.
The best time to get pregnant is during ovulation or the day before. One of the signs that ovulation is occuring is that you have that type of discharge.
This is crap.
You can get pregnant any time in your cycle....
Women ovulate at times twice in one cycle.. the ova live up to 7 days, sperm up to 10, do the math.... forever fertile.
Even during bleeding.
And you can become pregnant even while nursing.
Plenty of women have had two babies in one year, the second not planned of course.... they were uninformed thinking nursing made them infertile.
Hon, sex = babies. That 's what it's for. And every woman is different, but almost every woman will get pregnant in any year without bc.
I have several friends whose doc told them they'd never even have babies.... one had three before she could catch her breath.
So hon, you are forever fertile unless you are on bc.
The nurse is an idiot.
(Local catholic parish... that should tell you something. They don't believe in birth control.... just blind luck at not getting pregnant....)
